Sheffield is a city that grows on you, it may feel small at first, but it quickly opens up. You have a mix of student life, green spaces and easy access to the Peak District, all within a short distance of each other.

One of the biggest draws to the area for students is how close you are to nature. Parks like Endcliffe and Weston are popular for walks, running or picnics, and the Winter Garden offers a quieter indoor space. When you want to leave the city, places like Ladybower Reservoir and Bamford Edge are easy to reach for day trips.

Student life is centred around a few key areas, West Street is known for nights out, with affordable drinks and regular student events. Clubs and bars are close to campus, and Wednesdays are often the busiest. There are also plenty of pubs and cafés across the city for more relaxed evenings.

Food is a highlight, London Road and Division Street are known for variety and good value, with options ranging from quick meals to food halls and independent spots.
