|
Wolverhampton is a prosperous industrial city set within easy reach of unspoiled countryside in the heart of England. The city has over a thousand years of recorded history.
Wolverhampton has two large shopping precincts, the Mander Centre and the Wulfrun Centre, both of which are traffic free, as are some of the main shopping streets. There are museums, an art gallery, two theatres, a cinema and a Civic Hall (in which internationally famous orchestras and bands perform), parks and various sporting facilities including swimming baths in the town centre.
