Liverpool Hope University has a history of 175 years and has developed a strong tradition of scholarship and research in key disciplines in that time.     Liverpool Hope University has consistently been placed as the best university in the city in the Guardian League Tables and is in the top three in the North West region. It is also ranked in the top 25 for six subjects, with Computer Science being ranked at 8th in the country.

    The number of Liverpool Hope University graduates in employment or further education six months after graduating has risen to 98.1 per cent, putting it in second place in the UK and first in England for employability. Students' Union

Liverpool Hope University puts great focus on the utilising the Student’s Union as a base for an enriched student experience and healthy lifestyle. This can be fulfilled through joining extra-curricular clubs and societies which encourage students to meet new people and get to know one another. The Union also gives students the opportunity to network and form working partnerships and get involved with voluntary work.
