The numbers are in, and now we can see which universities give out the best grades. Judging by the percentage of first class marks, Imperial, Oxford and UCL seem to have the highest success rates. Does your university choice affect your exam results?
Top 10 universities with the highest percentage of first class marks, according to Higher Education Statistics Agency:
1. Imperial - 34%
2. Oxford - 30%
3. UCL - 30%
4. Bath - 27%
5. Warwick - 27%
6. St Andrews - 26%
7. Durham – 25%
8. Kent – 25%
9. Aston – 24%
10. Birmingham – 24%
Of course attending a good university doesn’t guarantee you a high mark. First class degrees are no joke. Still, student satisfaction surveys show that these universities are promising. Bath and St Andrews rank highly in The Times’ Higher Education Survey, with 93% satisfaction. Oxford and Kent enjoy a generous 91% satisfaction rate. Good resources and student happiness - the recipe for a first class degree!
