many students find it difficult to decide what sites to go and see in our glorious area of the world, so i have decided to give them a rough guide.
the best place to start is at the lovely spot of amble, this is a fishing village where most tourists start there trip up the coast, closely situated next to this village is warkworth, this is famous for "walkworth castle".
the next place is alnwick, this town is a fabulous place, perfect for site see'ing drinking as we no thats what students are known for. this has many attractions such as the new alnwick gardens, alnwick castle where the duke oif northumberland lives and much more.
next is the little village of craster(where im from) this is world famous for craster kippers, dougie hogg boat trips and dunstanburgh castle, not only that my local pub the jolly fisherman for its crab sandwiches.
straight on up the coast is beadnall and seahouses which are situated next to each other.
carry on up the coast you come to bamburgh this is a very popular place to visit, just for its history.
if you carry on up the coast you meet the island of holy island, this is worth a trip for its self.
the best thing bout these walks is that its a national cycle route so theres no getting lost but most of all there are pubs at every stop.
