Student Article - Adapting to a new place
Author: Darshan Shetty
[blue]Hi All,
Moving into a new place to stay with unknown people is a very exciting expierence. It can be the most memorable moments of your life or turn to be a nightmare depending on how you make use of it.
Always make full research of the place and your flat/rooom mates before getting into a contract with your landlord, Be completely clear on your home rules (DO and Dont's)and make sure your are on the same page. Keep your bills handy for group expenses if you are planning a kitty to avoid confusions. Have frequent meetings with your flat mates to discuss and resolve the concerns & key issues. Understand your room mate and make sure you dont hurt his sentiments especially when he is from a different culture or relegion. Do not make noise after 12:00 as you might be disturbing your nieghbours.
Last but not the least do not forget to have fun.
If you have any concerns and if you want to share it with anybody, you are always welcome.

Regards
Shetty
