The University of Southern Queensland
With three campuses located across Toowoomba, Springfield, and Ipswich, the University of Southern Queensland is a medium-sized university—Its student body comprises of some 27,500 undergraduates and postgraduates. First established in 1969 as a regional campus of the Queensland Institute of Technology, it has differentiated into teaching in the fields such as law, health, engineering, sciences, business, education, and the arts, providing comprehensive education.

THE 2023 ranking places USQ in the prestigious top 301-350 band. QS WUR places UniSQ in the top 700 institutions across the world, a very respectable score, establishing the university as a global regional leader.
Employability
The University of Southern Queensland is committed to providing students with the skills and experience they need to succeed in their careers. Its programs emphasize hands-on learning and provide students with opportunities to gain practical experience through internships, work-integrated learning, and research projects. Fees
Domestic students may be offered a Commonwealth Supported Place. The Australian government pays a portion of the tuition fee for Commonwealth supported students. The remaining amount is called the 'student contribution'. Domestic students are encouraged to read relevant information on HECS-HELP and FEE-HELP, if their offer does not specify a CSP. International students are liable to pay higher fees. The degrees offered by the University are priced on the course-by-course basis, each of them worth 1 unit. Bursaries
UniSQ offers a wide range of financial support options to its students. ‘Help ease the cost of study with a UniSQ scholarship. We offer a wide range of scholarships to assist with textbook, practical experience, accommodation, or living expenses. There are uni-managed residential colleges on the Toowoomba campus and off-campus, UniSQ-owned townhouses in Springfield. Ipswich campus relies on independent accommodation arrangements.
