We’ve been helping students to find a place to live since 2000 and we know how stressful it can be if you are trying to find accommodation over the clearing period.

This year we realise that it is going to be particularly difficult and we have developed some additional resources to help you through.

Anglia Ruskin University

Start Date

13th September - Welcome week (New undergraduates) 20th September - Teaching starts (Undergraduate and Postgraduate)

Face to Face or Online Learning

When the new term begins, students will have access to the university campus 7 days a week. Teaching will take place in small groups. The university will aim to offer as much on-campus teaching as possible, and will continue to be informed by government guidelines. The university will aim to make sure that the campus is as COVID_19 secure as possible in order to safeguard all staff and students.

Virtual or Real social events

The Student’s Union is looking forward to welcoming new students this September and will be hosting an array of events in order to ensure that individuals are able to make friends. On campus space will be available for groups to host socially distanced activities in line with government guidelines. Campus facilities such as the gym will also be open and the university encourages students to use these in a safe and socially distanced way. Accommodation restrictions and plans

The accommodations team have implemented social distancing measures across their accommodations and have altered their tenancy agreements to ensure that students have extra flexibility during this uncertain time.
