Helen says: "As an exchange student from Canada, Jeff was so kind as to pick me up from the bus stop when I first arrived in Plymouth and show me around one of his houses. He gave a very good induction and introduced me to some of the flatmates. Rent was a very good price. Bills are inclusive of electricity and water. Jeff came into the house periodically whenever there was a problem, and reporting a problem was easy - via email, text, or call, and he would check up on the problem asap. Near the end of my stay, the Virgin Mobile internet was down for 4 days to upgrade the speed. Jeff called the company several times to inquire when the internet would return. He also sent us updates and messaged us periodically to inquire if it was back on, which I thought was very kind because he did this on his own initiative, without us asking him to. He offered to drive me to the coach station as I was departing back for Canada. He is a very genuine person, truly, and I would definitely recommend him!" posted 12/29/17
Danielle says: "Jeff Birt was my landlord for two years, and from my experience he was a very good landlord. Jeff was helpful, understanding and was always on hand to help any situation that arised. For example at 3am the fire alarm would not turn, and Jeff, without hesitation came around and fixed the problem. If you're looking for a secure landlord and property, I recommend Jeff Birt." posted 08/03/15
Abi says: "I'm a second year student at Plymouth Uni and my first year flat mates and I all moved in together. Jeff made it as smooth a transition as possible, with numerous questions being answered and opportunities for us to meet with him being arranged easily. Any issues were handled as soon as possible with no hassle or stressing.
All of the rooms (Inc. communal areas) are well sized, fully furnished, and well maintained. And easy to rearrange to your liking! The back garden also gets so beautiful sun on it which makes it a great space for working outside when the weather permits it.
The university campus is within 5 minute's walking distance, with the train staton literally around the corner, and the town centre only 10 minutes away. Mutley is also a fab student area so you'll no doubt be able to find friends living close by too.
We've enjoyed living here so much that those of us not on placement years are staying for our final years, with coursemates of mine moving in because they've loved the house during visits!
We're all thoroughly looking forward to another year in the house." posted 06/25/15
Jack Adams says: "Jeff is the best landlord I've ever had, when something went wrong in the house, he'd be over the same day to sort it. The houses he has are lovely too, big rooms and all fairly priced. I especially like that the bills are included so you never got an unexpected bill through the door. Basically, i had a great 2 years in Jeff's houses. " posted 11/07/12

Megan says: "This house became our home in plymouth, it was a lovely place to live thanks to the landlords. There were no major issues and any small problems were dealt with quickly. A very relaxed relationship with the landlords made it very easy to approach them with any problems. Very reasonably priced and any requests from the tenants were taken on board. I had a great stay in Baring Street in my final year at uni and the next tenants are very lucky to have Jeff and Lorraine as thier landlords!" posted 08/01/11
