Rock City is the most pouplar student venue in the UK!. A beloved Nottingham concert venue and club, specialising in, you guessed it, rock music! From June 21st to 26th they’ll be holding a Reopening Week Festival from 10 to 3pm like the good old days.

#2 Courtyard, Manchester

Courtyard - is a popular bar with students in Manchester, and we’re not surprised. They have a great beer garden and the perfect indoor spot to watch live sports too. With £4 pizzas, vegan burgers and Jagermeister cold brew coffee?! It’s weird and wonderful.

#3 Astoria, Portsmouth

Astoria - Ah the Astoria - the nightclub that sounds too good to be true. Since the opening of outdoor hospitality they have been holding 7-day ‘Heated and Seated’ parties with DJ’s to liven it up. From 21st June onwards there will also be a special round of events, with themed parties and drinks for £1.50!

#4 The Imperial, Exeter

The Imperial - located in the Old Imperial hotel, this Weatherspoon’s pub looks classy while still supporting affordable student prices. They’re open again and ready to greet you!

#5 The Apple, Bristol

The Apple - must be one of the most unique bars in the UK, with it’s view of the river, relaxed atmosphere and cider boat! They’re open at the moment and don’t take booking so head straight down for some fun in the sun.

# 6 Einstein, Liverpool

Einstein - is a German bar that offers drinks, food, live sports and live music! It’s located in Liverpool’s lively Concert Square which makes it the perfect spot for a drink, whether that’s in the afternoon or late at night. P.S. They’re hiring too! So if you’re looking for a summer job this might be the one for you.

Mosh - is a very popular club in Leicester, spread over three floors and playing all kinds of music. They’re reopening on June 21st and tickets are on sale NOW!

#8 Quids Inn, Coventry

Quids Inn - Two beer gardens, open until 3:30 AM and happy hours too? This is the place to go if you’re in Coventry.

#9 Steam, Bristol

Steam - is probably one of the coolest places you can go - quite literally. Cool off with a cold drink in one of Bristol’s largest beer gardens. You should book in advance to avoid disappointment, and don’t worry about the weather, indoor is open now too!

#10 Snobs, Birmingham

Snobs - Snobs is another popular nightclub which is now hosting their ‘Big Wednesday Sit Down’ events! If you can’t wait to be back in Snobs fun atmosphere, then book your ticket quickly!

The best of the rest! Thousands of you voted and here are some of your favourite places that did not quite make it into the top ten.

The Pear Tree - The Pear Tree is a classic pub with food, drinks, live sports and a great beer garden. For those looking for a traditional pub experience, it doesn’t get much better than this.

Brighton

Ye Olde King and Queen - Brighton’s largest pub has opened their doors to welcome you back INSIDE! Their live sport screenings are back too - so get yourselves down to enjoy their drinks and traditional pub food (with vegan options too!).

York

Stone Roses - Stone Roses is proud of their ‘sticky dance floor’ and open to greet you! They have great student discounts, and a booking and queuing system (because yes, they’re that popular)!

Norwich

The Waterfront - Waterfront is Norwich’s most popular live music venue and nightclub. Unfortunately, there’s no news on when they will reopen yet, but they do have a long list of gigs lined up for Autumn, so hopefully they’ll be back soon.

Lincoln

The Swan - The Swan is located on the University of Lincoln's campus so it’s no wonder you all love it! With a waterside view and now its addition of indoor seating, this place will be buzzing in no time!

Leeds

Headrow House - Headrow House is one of Leed’s trendiest event spaces. With a beer garden, DJ’s and now a classy indoor space for meals too. Why wouldn’t you give it a try?

Cardiff

The Live Lounge - A combination of live music, drinking, eating - outdoors only for now (hopefully not for too long)!

Swansea

Sin City - Sin City is a popular live music event space that also does some legendary club nights. Unfortunately, they have issued a statement informing fans that they will not be able to reopen before the 1st of August. Nonetheless it’s definitely a venue to keep in mind!

Bournemouth

Old Fire Station - The Old Fire Station has reopened their ‘Engine Room’ with quiz nights and seated music events for £5 per person! With its iconic exterior, it’s no surprise this place is so popular.

Newcastle

The Holy Hobo - Known as ‘A Secret Venue’ has officially reopened! You can book a table for eating or just for drinks. With it’s dark mysterious interior and mouth watering food, it’s definitely a place to visit! P.S. If you’re in the mood for an outdoor experience, their sister venue Beach Box is open too.

Glasgow

Subclub - Subclub is a nightclub that’s all the rage in Glasgow. Their parties look incredible and we’re sure you can’t wait to get back (or try it out for the first time). While they’re not fully open yet, they have teamed up with the V&A Museum in Dundee for an exhibition that celebrates nightlife! So if you’re feeling nostalgic, you know where to go.

London

Heaven - Heaven is one of London’s busiest nightclubs and live music venues. They’re not back just if all goes well they will be soon. You haven’t seen London until you’ve seen Heaven!

Exeter

Timepiece - Timepiece calls itself ‘Exeter’s half decent nightclub’, but you obviously think it’s better than that! They reopened on the 17th of May with ticketed entries. We’re not quite sure how the club to bar transformation will look like but hopefully by the 21st of June they will be fully back.
