Rankings
The Times Higher Education rankings puts Adelaide University as the 7th best university in Australia, with it coming in 88th in the World University Rankings for 2023.
Employability
The University of Adelaide provides many different services to help students understand and improve their employability, leading to it being ranked as the best university in South Australia for graduate employability according to the QS Graduate Employability Ranking of 2020,
Fees
The Maximum Student Contribution amount from 1st January 2022 per EFTSL is A$3,985 for Band 1, A$8,021 for Band 2, A$11,401 for Band 3 and A$14,630 for Band 4. For International Students, tuition fees can range from A$18,520-26,000 per year, depending on the field of study.
Bursaries
The univeristy offers scholarships to both undergraduate and postgraduate students. These, combined with other industry or non-profit funded scholarships, are available to potential and current students. A full list of the scholarships available can be found on the university website.
Accommodation
The University of Adelaide provides univeristy managed student accommodation which is fully furnished, includes utilities within the rent, only contains students and has a simple application and acceptance process. This sets up students to then live in private accommodation in future years.

YouX, formerly Adelaide University Union, is the student run organisation to support students and improve their experience at the University of Adelaide. Some of the services that YouX provide includes Student Care, helping students in academic areas, along with Student Employment - assisting students finding part time work they can manage alongside their studies.

The University of Adelaide is associated with five Nobel laureates, which makes up on third of Australia's total Nobel laureates.
News
In December 2022, the University of Adelaide and Boeing annouced a partnership to support diverse STEM scholars. The grant, aiming to benifit 620 students, including 50 Indigenous and 300 high school students, with a focus on women in STEM.
