Kingston University
Kingston University London is located within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in the South West of London. Its roots go back to 1899 when the Kingston Technical Institute was founded, but it was not until 1992 that it received university status and was known as Kingston Polytechnic. There are currently 13,105 home/ European students and 2,680 international students from more than 140 countries at the university.

Kingston is ranked in the UK’s top 40 in the 2021 Guardian University Guide and is third in the UK for education, fashion and textiles. It is also in the top ten universities for studying biosciences and nursing in London.
Employability
Kingston University places great emphasis on real-life learning that equips students with the skills they will need for the workplace. All of the courses are led by experts in their fields who allow students to put their theory into practice.
Fees
Undergraduate tuition fees are £9,250 per year for UK and EU students. For international students, the cost ranges from £13,100 per year for classroom programmes and £16,200 for art and design programmes.
Bursaries
There is a minimum of 400 bursaries of £2,000 available to students who start courses at Kingston University in September 2021. The details of eligibility can be found here.
Accommodation
In addition to providing a wide range of accommodation options, Kingston also runs a ‘flexi-stay’ scheme to cater to commuting students who may wish to book a room on a casual basis. There are 2,005 rooms available in Kingston’s halls of residence; most with en-suite facilities and a number of self-contained studios.
