    Northumbria University’s growing global reputation for academic excellence has been reinforced after becoming the highest placed UK university in the latest world rankings by Times Higher Education’s Young Universities Rankings 2020 and placing 7th highest recently in 2023.

  • Employability

    Northumbria University is top ten in the UK for the number of graduates entering professional employment, with nine out of ten of our graduates working or in further study within six months of graduation. Innovative and entrepreneurial, the University also ranked fourth in the UK for graduate business start-ups.

  • Fees

    All undergraduate full-time programmes based on the Newcastle campus are £9,250. Tuition fees for the Amsterdam and London campus may vary.

  • Bursaries

    Northumbria University offers a number of support packages for students depending on academic achievement or personal financial circumstances. Some examples include choral scholarships, care leavers bursaries and business school scholarships.

Accommodation

The University allows students to have complete control over where they live through self-select their own building and room based on live availability. Students can choose from rooms on shared corridors, in cluster flats of 3-10 rooms or self-contained studios. Students' Union

Northumbria University’s Students’ Union is located on the City Campus, Coach Lane, London Campus and Amsterdam Campus and works hard to provide students with everything they need. This includes running over one hundred societies and sports clubs, having a drink at one of the award-winning bars or giving some advice to students for free.

Northumbria University describes itself as a comprehensive university, offering 30 of the UK’s 32 most frequently chosen academic disciplines. It specialises in law and business, arts and design, computing, environmental science, built environment, applied healthcare, sports science and psychology, and teacher education.

News

Newcastle Business School, at Northumbria University, is working with the Small Business Charter to deliver a specialised government funded programme for leaders of small businesses across the North East and North West region to survive and thrive in the coming months and post coronavirus.
