Our range of accommodation options will suit most preferences and budgets, including catered or self-catering options, en-suite or shared bathrooms, and family-friendly rooms at our Beck House accommodation, located just outside of Singleton campus. Students' Union
As a Swansea Uni student, you're automatically a member of the SU, so you’re a part of our great, big, diverse community! Through us, you can join societies and sports clubs, get free support from our Advice Centre, get some cheap food and drinks in our bars, and come to all the best events of the year. With more than 50 sports clubs and 120 student societies, alongside over 5,000 active members and year-round events, there is something to suit every interest. First-class facilities include 50-metre and 25-metre indoor swimming pools, a state-of-the-art university gym, modern fitness studios, basketball, squash and tennis courts, and extensive outdoor playing fields. A highlight of the sporting calendar is the annual Varsity competition against Cardiff University, which fosters a strong sense of pride and belonging among the “Green and White” community.

News
Swansea University has been ranked 12th for overall student satisfaction in the 2021 National Student Survey (NSS). Published on 15 July, the results reveal that 82 per cent of Swansea students say that they are satisfied with their course overall. The NSS is a comprehensive UK-wide survey of students’ views carried out independently and anonymously by Ipsos-MORI. Students are asked their views on areas such as teaching, assessment and feedback, academic support, the organisation and management of their course, learning resources, the student voice and their Students’ Union.
