It has a good sized lounge; a main bathroom, which was recently refurbished; a newly fitted second bathroom / toilet in the attic; and a smart fitted kitchen with all modern appliances. The house also has a nice enclosed garden to the rear, complete with a new patio area which is ideal for (summer) BBQs! The property is independently owned, which means you have no management company to deal with and direct contact with the property owner, ensuring that your queries and repairs are dealt with quickly and efficiently. The advertised rent for this property does not include bills. A bills inclusive package is available if required for £21.21 per person per week (gas, electricity, water). However, previous tenants have found that managing bills seperately is considerably cheaper. The Nook is located approximately 5 minutes from Sheffield University. It is also well served by public transport to the city centre and near some handy local shops. Finally, NO parking permits are required to park outside the house.     Living in 22 The Nook was a pleasant experience. Being just a 10-15 minute walk away from the University of Sheffield, as well as the shops and pubs/bars which are on the doorstep, made its location ideal for studying students. The property itself was surprisingly spacious considering the apparent size of the house, with good size bedrooms and a living room comfortable for 5 people. With regards to the landlord herself, Larissa was very friendly and always approachable when it came to the odd job that needed doing in the house and more than happy to get it sorted with a turnaround time usually within a week. I would definitely recommend this property to other students looking for accommodation in the Crookesmoor/Crookes area.

    Location was really good. About a 10 minute walk to university with easy access to the best parks in Sheffield. Sainsburys and a Barbers within a 20 second walk also came in handy. The house was really nice too; my room (ground floor) was very large with a fantastic desk and wardrobe fitted with drawers! There were plenty of storage areas: basement for example was clean and very useable. The kitchen was large and had a useful dryer for clothes. Furthermore, the living room was homely and was perfect for socialising. The garden also was a great area during spring and summer to have BBQs and generally relax if it wasn't raining. Any maintenance issues were fixed rapidly too. However, if the property is kept clean and tidy, not many issues will crop up. I highly recommend the house as it was probably the best property I have stayed in whilst being at university for 4 years. Made countless unforgettable memories.

    The nook is a fantastic place to live with a fantastic landlord. The property is clean, well furnished and Larissa was always on hand if anything needed maintenance. Genuinely couldn’t recommend a better place to live in a better location for your uni experience.
