Being a student is emotionally tough. You’re tired, hungover, stressed and poor. Who better than Ross Geller to talk us through those trying times
6pm: You find out someone has eaten your food…
…And you get more upset than is really necessary …
…Because everyone around you is getting into a relationship and you’re just sat there like
7pm: Shots are acceptable. Let’s drown my sorrows with the only way I know how
11pm: You’re intoxicated and feeling lucky. Tonight will be your night. But you end up embarrassing yourself. As always.
8am: After a heart to heart with the takeaway guy at 5am, you decide you need to get your life on track, so you go to your first ever 9am lecture. You shortly regret this idea.
11am: The hangover is kicking in now, and those freshers just wont shut up. Do they not know you’re hanging out your arse?
11:02am Suddenly you realise it’s the day before an essay is due and someone asks you if you’ve finished it yet
11.03am You have a miniature breakdown (“Why did I not start it weeks ago?”)
4pm: You’re still 300 words away from your word count and looking for inspiration
4:04pm After re-reading it you realise how crap the whole thing is
4.06pm: And that there’s no way to salvage the 2:2 you’re bound to get
5pm: But on the way home you stop to get cash and realise your loan has finally come in
5:15pm: You start to feel a little better about yourself now
And wonder why you even cared so much about your food last night
5:30pm While sitting on your housemate’s bed you realise how much you actually love your uni life
6pm: And never want to face the fact that one day you’ll graduate
