5 TOP TIPS ON HOW TO SHOP SUSTAINABLY,ON A BUDGET
1.PRELOVED
<3 Apps are a really easy tool to find preloved items that you may need. -For clothes I love Ebay, Depop or Vinted. -For household appliances I love Facebook marketplace. They’re basically giving things away for free!
2.NEGOTIATE
Get comfortable negotiating! There’s always room for negotiation on the prices. For instance, I try and get the delivery cost knocked off the total price. ...However, don’t be too cheeky or you’ll put off the seller!
3.ZERO WASTE STORES
Don’t get sucked into the aesthetic of sustainability and buy new containers to go to your local refill store. Reuse your old containers, they do the same job and last for ages!
4.BYOB Don’t forget to bring your own bag. 10p each time all adds up!
5.LESS IS MORE Do you really need anothertop? Just buy what you need and don’t get sucked into ordering new things when you’re bored.
