Classic Studio, at Canterbury Hall

I’ve been living at Canterbury Hall in Preston, and honestly, it’s been one of the best accommodation experiences I’ve had as a student! The building itself feels modern, secure, and really well-maintained — everything from the stylish rooms to the spacious common areas has been designed with comfort in mind. The rooftop terrace is definitely a highlight — perfect for relaxing after uni or hanging out with friends during summer. The gym and cinema room are great bonuses too, and the study area is quiet and ideal when you need to focus. The staff team are absolutely incredible — super friendly, always ready to help, and genuinely care about the residents. They make the whole place feel like a community rather than just accommodation.

I’ve had such a great experience living at Canterbury Halls! The rooms are really spacious compared to most student accommodations, which makes such a difference when you’re studying or just need your own space. The staff are always super friendly, approachable, and quick to help with anything — honestly makes the place feel way more like home. Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, well-managed place with a chill vibe and great people.

Preston Canterbury staff are amazing!

Everything about this place is absolutely lovely—from the room itself to the warm and welcoming reception. Mr. Nathan and Ms. Natasha are truly delightful, always kind and helpful. Housekeeping, Miss Sue is a joy — she’s wonderful to chat with — and even maintenance with Mr. Chris is a pleasure; he’s both efficient and incredibly friendly. There are plenty of activities and events each month, and if any issues arise, the staff is quick to assist and always works to find a prompt and effective solution. Highly recommend!!

Love the staff they’re always there to chat to and have a laugh, including the reception, cleaner, handy men, etc. You never feel alone. Lots of little events on every week to socialise, prizes, staff are mental health trained which I think is fantastic as a student psychotherapist. Rooms are big and it’s been so worthwhile having my own space incl. kitchen area and bathroom. Yes it’s a little more than average student accommodation but Canterbury is far from average 😊 I’d definitely recommend it to those who enjoy having their own facilities or perhaps struggle to make friends.

I had a genuinely great experience living here. The building is safe, clean, and clearly designed with students in mind. The rooms are well-maintained and quiet — perfect for studying — and the common areas are comfortable and modern. The management team is professional, responsive, and always willing to help, whether it’s maintenance, mail issues, or general questions.

It’s been a great 2 years living at Canterbury, the staff and the facilities are amazing and I’m so sad that I have to leave at the end of the year.
