Nurtur House, Sheffield

My experience at Nurtur House has been truly wonderful and memorable. As an international student studying at Sheffield Hallam University, I was initially quite nervous about finding the right accommodation in a new country. I wanted a place that felt safe, modern, and supportive — somewhere that could become my home away from home. After staying at Nurtur House for a while, I can confidently say that it exceeded all my expectations. From the first day I moved in, the staff at Nurtur House made me feel welcomed and comfortable. The reception team is friendly, approachable, and always ready to help, whether it’s about maintenance requests, parcel deliveries, or just a friendly chat. They treat every resident with warmth and respect, creating a genuine sense of community. What really stood out to me was how quickly they respond to issues — whether it’s fixing something in your room or helping with key access, the support is immediate and professional.

I’ve been staying at Apartment 112, 70 Allen Street, and it’s an excellent place for students. The location is perfect — close to Sheffield Hallam University, public transport, supermarkets, and restaurants. The apartment is modern, clean, and fully furnished with everything a student needs for comfortable living. The building is secure and quiet, providing a great environment for studying and relaxing. Maintenance and management are responsive, and the Wi-Fi connection is reliable, which is essential for coursework and online classes. Overall, it’s an ideal accommodation for students looking for convenience, comfort, and value for money. I’d highly recommend it to anyone studying in Sheffield.

Nurtur House is conveniently located close to Diamond building. The roof terrace, garden and social spaces set Nurtur House apart. With many social events scheduled each month, there is a great sense of community.

Excellent studio for the price I am paying. The only downside is that the location can be disadvantageous if you are studying in Management School.

I have had a great experience whilst living at Nurtur House. The team who work here are really friendly and go above and beyond to make it a great place to live. The location is ideal, being a short walk from the city centre, Kelham Island, and a tram stop. Rooms are well laid out with all the main essentials, as well as smaller things like USB charging ports and hooks for towels in the bathroom and kitchen. The building is also well equipped with a gym, laundry, yoga room, study rooms, garden, roof terrace and bike store. I would definitely recommend living here.

The team at Nurtur House is absolutely exceptional. They have been fantastic to me since I first booked a viewing and are continually kind, friendly and helpful throughout my stay (despite how frequently I forget my key in my room and need to be let in lol). Interactions with them are genuinely pleasant and my only regret about Nurtur House is not knowing it existed at the start of my masters, otherwise I absolutely would've moved in sooner! The building, including all common spaces and my own suite, have exceeded my expectations for cleanliness of student accommodations. Really sets the bar high for looking to rent anywhere else in this city. There's tons of events each month to build the community and the breakfast goodies every Friday morning gives me more reason to get out of bed & start my day. Wifi is fast and reliable across all my devices and the location is fantastic - close to transit and walking distance from Kelham Island or anything you could need. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The service is good, and the staff is nice.

The best student accommodation to choose in Sheffield. Only professional, respectful and positive service from the staff who are always there for you. The building is well kept, clean and a pleasure to stay in. Very close to universities and the city centre. Would recommend this to anyone.

The environment is very comfortable to live in, especially when you sleep very quietly.
