The Old Mill has 388 separate study rooms – from one-bedroom to modern, cluster flats comprising 4, 5 or 6 bedrooms with shared kitchen/lounge facilities, shower rooms and toilets. In addition, there are 25 studios available for rent which have a double bed, open plan kitchen and living area as well as a shower room.
Communal facilities include a spacious, bright common room with large TV screen, comfortable seating, vending machines, full-sized pool table and full-size ping pong table.
The Old Mill is ideally located within a 5-minute walk of Dundee University and Abertay University and to enjoy the best of the nightlife that Dundee has to offer. Pubs, clubs and live music venues are within walking distance. Further afield, St Andrew’s University is just a short 25-minute bus journey.
Dundee is a city rich in heritage and attractions including a vibrant nightlife. It has several castles dating back to as early as the 16th century including Mains Castle, Dudhope Castle, Claypotts Castle and Broughty Castle. Throughout the city, you will also see signs of Dundee’s rich history as a centre of textile production.
Shopping is easy in Dundee with many local amenities within a stone’s throw of The Old Mill. Lidl, Tesco, Co-op, Iceland and Farmfoods all have stores within easy reach. The Overgate Shopping Centre with all your familiar high street stores is also under half a mile away.
Dundee is a city full of options for a good social life as well as nightlife. It has great restaurants, bars, clubs, theatres and music venues that offer something for all tastes.
