Clanny House, Sunderland

A 629-bed complex, Clanny House provides student accommodation and has done so for the past thirty years, having previously been owned by Sunderland University. In May 2025, there began a full refurbishment to modernise kitchens, bathrooms, and amenities for students and working professionals. With one hundred and twenty-five flats spreading across fourteen blocks, Clanny House offers two-to-seven-bedroom accommodation with three different room types. We have Standard, Deluxe and Premium rooms available with residents sharing the communal areas. We ask that all residents respect living in a shared space and maintain the cleanliness of each area. Residents are encouraged to organise each area between one another so that a harmonious living environment is created.
