What matters most to students choosing accommodation? - AFS overview

An exclusive webinar was hosted on 27 th May by Accommodation For Students by the Head of Research, Ally Collins. This 40-minute session showed the latest findings from our national student research.

The session covered insights such as student budgets and how they are influencing accommodation choices, key factors that students consider when choosing where to live, the role of artificial intelligence in their search journey, as well as the overall sentiment and trends for student behaviour in 2025.

The research revealed that students value location factors like being close to campus and transport services when choosing their accommodation. They also appreciate good communication and responsiveness from landlords. Advice from students was shared too.
