The University of Greenwich is ranked in the 601–650 band in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027 and the 791–800 band in the QS World University Rankings 2027.

Fees
At the University of Greenwich, standard full-time undergraduate tuition fees for Home students are £9,790 per year for 2026/27. For international students, fees vary by course, with many undergraduate courses charging £17,975 per year for 2026/27. Check the individual course page for the relevant fees.
Bursaries
The University offers a range of bursary and scholarship options for Home and international students, depending on their circumstances. Eligible Home students from lower-income households can receive support with commuting costs through the Commuter Bursary, worth up to £1,000 per academic year, or first-year university accommodation through the Accommodation Bursary, worth up to £700. Accommodation
The University of Greenwich provides around 2,400 places in halls of residence on or near its campuses at Greenwich, Avery Hill and Medway. A free shuttle bus runs between Avery Hill and Greenwich from Monday to Friday. Accommodation is guaranteed for eligible full-time undergraduate students who firmly accept an offer and meet the application requirements. Students' Union
Greenwich Students’ Union is run by students and represents more than 30,000 students at the University. The Union represents students’ views and provides advice and support services. It works to ensure every student’s voice is heard and offers societies, sports clubs and activities across all three campuses.

Steeped in history, the University of Greenwich is well known for being at the heart of a World Heritage Site. The prime location allows student to obtain a deeper understanding of British society and culture.
News
In September 2026, the University of Greenwich and the University of Kent officially launched the London and South East University Group (LASE). Students continue to apply to, study at and graduate from their chosen university, while gaining access to libraries and student support services across the Group’s four campuses.
