6 bed house, Redbarn Drive

The location is well situated for getting campus east and not too far from anywhere on a bike! It's a lovely quiet residential area and we didn't have any trouble with neighbours, it's nice to be a bit outside of a student area to get the quiet. Living in the property was great - it's a very nice house with good bedrooms and well maintained by Caroline, who is always quick to fix problems and very helpful! We had a really lovely time here - even though a lot of it was spent locked down we were so grateful to be in such a nice place!

Caroline was a lovely landlady and responded straight away to any problems we had, no matter how small they were. She allowed us to split the rent unequally so that the people in the smaller rooms payed less than those in the larger rooms. The house is close to campus east, and is about a 15 minute cycle (30 minute walk) to campus west. There is also a bus stop into town just at the end of the road.

I really enjoyed the two years I spent at the house. It was nicely decorated and felt like a home. It contained everything a student could need, including a sheltered bike rack in the garden which was very useful. Caroline is a brilliant and lovely landlady, always making us feel welcome and at home and was very quick to answer any questions or sort any problems we had.

The house is in a great location with Nisa, Sainsbury's and the Space Station (which is open 24 hrs) nearby. It's a short walk to campus east and about 40 minutes walk to campus west. There's excellent cycle paths to both campuses and to town. The number 6 and the park and ride stop very nearby to get to and from town as well. The property is a lovely clean house supplied with all the appliances you could need. However the real selling point of this property is Caroline, the landlady. She's very friendy, gave us some bits to get started when we first moved in. She was always very quick to respond to any problems we had and really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Her husband Graham can handle most of the maintenance himself which was really great; our oven broke one evening and he came and fitted a new one the next morning! I lived in this property for two years and I'd definitely recommend it.

Located in a quiet area, within a 10 minute walk from campus east making it perfect for students. Bus routes into town near by and also close to a cycle path directly leading to Foss Island shops. The house was nicely decorated to give a homely feel, rather than a bland student accommodation feel. Some rooms were a bit small but the landlady gives the option to split the payments between housemates accordingly. Landlady replied to any queries and concerns rapidly and problems were all sorted at least within the week (sometimes even on the same day if possible). She was also really friendly and makes you feel welcome.

The house is so lovely and homely with more than enough space for six people! The communal spaces are well-furnished and spacious and it comes with all the amenities well taken care of, as well as outside space and a bike shed. It's a great location, easy to walk to Campus East in 10 minutes or less and even quicker to cycle. It's a bit further to Campus West but even if you aren't cycling or taking the bus from East I found walking really convenient! The 6 and 4 bus routes are really close to the house if you don't want to walk or cycle into town and there are lots of shops nearby in a nice neighbourhood. The landlady is always so kind and quick to help with any issues around the house; very welcoming and understanding! Everything is so well-maintained and her friendliness and is possibly the best thing that comes with the house!

My feedback to Domus when I moved out after graduating was this: Continue as you are! Being so helpful and so friendly. You made us feel so at ease in the house and were so quick and eager to improve everything despite the already high standards. We couldn’t have hoped for better Landlords! Rating: Completely satisfied 100% How do you rate the overall house? Amazing! Well kept, beautiful and homely! Comments - Thank you for an amazing year, all the best for the future! Thank you for all your help! You have been the best Landlords and Domusuna has been the loveliest home. Best wishes love Katie xxx.
