8 Marlborough Rd is in a great location right opposite the university and close to cafes, a 24hour Spar, bars and student nightlife. The city centre is a few minutes walk and the Barbican and Hoe 10-15 minutes walk. The flat itself is of a much higher standard than the usual student accommodation. I could have happily have made it my forever home. Bryce Properties office is on site, the staff are very friendly. You can just pop in and they will sort out any problems, there is also 24 hour emergency maintenance cover. The block itself is generally quiet and the wifi signal is good. The only downsides are the lack of parking and some street noise at night.
