Excellent experience overall. Any issues were resolved quickly. Extremely friendly whilst being professional. Good location close to city and Trent university.

Hardly any problems at all and when there were he was always available to sort them out and did it straight away. One instance was when the hover wasn’t working properly, I called and told him and he said ‘no problem, ill sort it out’ within two days we had a Dyson! He helped us sort out the bills quite a lot too. The only negative thing I can say about him as a landlord is that we were charged 25 pounds each for cleaning the house when we moved out even though we cleaned before we left but that is nothing in comparison to some of the troubles my friends have had with landlords/estate agents. Other than that charge we got our full deposits back. I would definitely recommend Peter as a landlord.

Pete was a legend sorted any problems out straight away, text to let us know when putting rent cheques through and made sure loans had cleared. Helpful when sorting bills out, didnt do us over with deposits like past landlords and even brought some beers over for one of our birthdays! great landlord.

Pete was a great landlord, any problem and he or his wife came straight round to sort it out. I even told him i was having a party for my birthday and instead of telling us not to act like wild apes, he brought me round a crate of booze. Hero.

Really good property with free parking! Pete was only a phone call away if we experienced any problems.

Reasonable price and good building maintenance and if there was any problems would sort them out ASAP.

Pete has made my final year of student accomodation as stress free as possible. I have in the past had problems with student agencies charging ridiculous amounts of money for small DIY fixtures on the house and for letting students back in to individual rooms when they are locked out. I have also known many other students who have used private landlords who have tried to exploit money from their tennents. Pete however always came and helped with DIY problems as soon as he possible could at no charge. He was always very professional when letting us know about other student viewings and he must be the first landlord ever to fairly judge the coniditon the house was left in at the end of our year and returned our full deposits to everyone in our house. If I was going to continue living in the area I would definitely want to have Pete be my landlord again because he is very trustworthy.

Myself and four other tenants found this house in the second term of our first year and were blown away, it being such a decent house for a relatively competitive price. After living there for a year these are some of the things i was most pleased with: Large bedroom space - all double beds Plenty of fridge/freezer space (two fridge freezers - one in the living room, great for beers) Back yard in the summer - great for a BBQ House stays cool in summer and heats up easily in winter (cheaper electric bills) Simple layout with appropriate furniture The location - stones throw from the tram line. Pete being a friendly, approachable landlord. - pretty much a stress free year. The only real problem i had with the house was that it got tenants for the next academic year before i considered staying for another year.

Lived in both 2 claypole and 16 lake street 06-08. Both good houses in decent locations. Deposits returned fairly and timely.

I loved living at this house it was the best accommodation i had throughout my time at university. And Pete was a fantastic landlord! My room was dead comfy which made working easy and relaxin a joy! The house was a great environment for playin in too! The Garage also doubled up as a creative studio to help my project work and leave more space within the actual livin quarters. All in all 2 Claypole was just a top place to have called home!

Large house, perfect terrace for BBQ`s all large rooms and a nice garage! excellent landlord, very nice guy and allways on hand to help! and had no problems with anything!

Lived in one of his houses from 06/07, was a well looked after house with an even better landlord! who was only a phone call away and was there on hand to help with anything that we needed! Top house with a Top class landlord!! shame not in Nottingham anymore as to not live there again!

Great size rooms, reasonable rent, lovely landlord, no problems or hassles with repairs or deposit etc. Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed my time at this house. Its in a quieter part of a lively area & very convienent for uni. There's loads of shops near, which is handy as well as Asda just down the road. I thought that the rent on the property was very reasonable and Pete was very helpful with transactions.

Pete is very easy going and brings friendly charisma mixed with a nice jovial nature. He is prompt and reliable. (Ive known pete for years...bias rating sorry).

Pete was very fair, friendly. Had no problems getting in touch to sort problems out. Also, I got my deposit back in a timely fashion without any unnecessary deductions for cleaning or whatever that Landlords seem to take liberties with these days.
