    Honestly loved living here. It's only a 10 minute walk from uni, close to two green spaces, and there's a handy slip road to the Exeter roundabout, so getting around (and skipping traffic) is super easy. The house itself is bright and spacious, with sun at the front all day, loads of cupboard and fridge/freezer space, and a really cosy TV room that's perfect for hanging out. There's a driveway plus cheap permit parking nearby, and the area has everything you need: a supermarket, local shops, food places and a pub just a short walk away. The landlord was great, quick to fix any issues and always good at communicating. Overall, great house, great location, great landlord. Would definitely recommend to other students.

    I’ve really loved living here. The location is honestly perfect ,it’s right next to a lovely park, which has been great for walks, runs, or just chilling out when the weather’s nice. There are loads of shops close by too, like Aldi and Tesco, so it’s super easy to grab food or anything else you need without having to go far. It’s also only about a 10-minute walk from the uni, which has been a lifesaver on early mornings. You can get to campus really quickly, but the area still feels nice and quiet when you want to relax. The house itself is great , it’s big, clean, and there’s plenty of space to store your stuff. The rooms don’t feel cramped at all, and there’s a comfy living area where you can hang out with your housemates. It’s got a proper homey feel to it, not just a typical student house vibe. The landlord has been amazing as well. Any time we had a problem, it got sorted really quickly, no hassle, no waiting around. You can tell they actually care about keeping the place nice and making sure everyone’s comfortable. Honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to live. It’s been super convenient, comfortable, and friendly. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere near the uni

    I rented with Martin during the 2020-21 academic year. As a landlord, Martin is: fair, understanding, reasonable and professional. I always felt valued as a tenant as Martin always listened to the needs of the house with any repairs etc actioned promptly in a considerate manner through communication with us. The property is well maintained and in a good location (walking distance) to the University of Plymouth. The different rent price points depending on en-suite or not made it suitable for a group of friends with varying student budgets. The rent due dates also fit well around the student finance dates. Overall, I had an extremely positive experience renting from Martin, my stay was easy and stress-free. I would highly recommend, especially given my previous experience with varying student letting companies within Plymouth.

During the year, Martin has been a great landlord. He has been flexible with contract lengths, moving in and moving out - Ideal for students.     Martin was a fantastic landlord during my 10 month stay at 20 May Terrace. He was very warm when he first showed us round the property and remained friendly during my entire stay there. If we had any concerns during the stay (one example being the boiler breaking down) he made sure someone came out to fix it as soon as they could. He was very understanding when I went through some financial troubles with rent at times. He also let me change my contract to a shorter stay to save me some money, which i'm really thankful for as he didn't have to do this for me. Martin was a great landlord and I can only sing his praises.

    I found Martin to be a great landlord. He was friendly, helpful, down to earth, accessible to talk to when we had problems and got the balance right. Any problems with the house would be sorted as quickly as possible, he was very responsive to emails and texts and the maintenance Man lived next door so was able to come very quickly if needed which was a nice safety net. It was very easy to be a tenant in this house, and I would highly recommend staying in one of Martin's properties if you are a student.
