The Castle Quarter is home to the beautiful Northernhay and Rougemont Gardens, and not forgetting the Norman splendour of Exeter Castle. In Southernhay you’ll find a monthly street food market, or you can take in one of the regular stage performances at the Exeter Barnfield Theatre and, of course, the historic Quayside area provides a suitable backdrop for great food and drink at the many excellent bars and restaurants.
