Solent University
Solent University was formerly known as Southampton Solent. It is based in Southampton and the main campus is on East Park Terrace. Each year it welcomes around 10,000 students.

Solent University was awarded a TEF silver award in 2018 and in 2019 was granted five stars in the QS World University Rankings. It currently places 97th in the The Complete University Guide 2024.
Employability
In 2019, the university was awarded 5 stars in employability and teaching in the QS Work University Ranking.

Accommodation
Accommodation is guaranteed to students who start in 2024 and fulfil the given criteria. There are also five student homes and a Solent Sports Complex for students to access for free.

News
New for 2019 was the Solent’s East Park Terrace transformation with funding of £100 million including a new sports complex that has sports halls, studios, gyms and a clinical therapy space.
