There are two universities, which makes it one of the most popular UK cities to study in. the city itself has so much to offer, from spending time in galleries, to window shopping and going out for food with friends. The city is super easy to get around as everything is quite compact, with the most popular areas all within walking distance. Nottingham also offers reliable tram and bus services, which makes it even easier for students to get around the city and travel to different university campuses.
There is a strong sense of community in Nottingham, which really helps shape student life. There are so many cafes, vintage stores and local businesses to explore, particularly in areas such as Hockley and Lace Market. Not only this, but green areas such as the Arboretum and Wollaton Park offer a lovely, quiet break from the busy city and university schedules.
