5 bed house, Wellington Street

It has been such a good house for my final year at uni and I am so sad to be leaving. Paul and Billy have been extremely helpful all year round, fixing problems as soon as they have arised and communicating quickly to all of our messages. The house was only a 5 minute walk away from the NTU city campus and to the shopping centre to get into town. I can't thank our landlord enough for providing the perfect house to see out my uni days and I would recommend them to anyone who needed student accommodation.

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. Firstly, the house was absolute amazing for many reasons. The location was just excellent, right in the city centre so university, nights out, and shops were incredibly accessible. I lived in a house of 5 and we never had any issues with the house, any minor problems was resolved immediately. The house was also very modern and provided everything you would ever need living somewhere. I have no words to even properly describe how incredibly helpful both Paul and Billy were. We have had bad experiences with other landlords in the past during our stay at university, so to see how amazing Paul and Billy can be was honestly such a nice surprise. They really looked after us the entire time we had them and are just genuinely such amazing people. I wouldn’t have asked for anyone better to have as our landlords and I couldn’t recommend anyone better. Everytime they came to visit felt like we were having a conversation with people we have known for years- honestly the friendliest guys ever! Finding an amazing house with the most helpful landlords seems unheard of at university but we definitely found this with them.

As a group of 5 we had a great time living in Paul’s property, it was a great location for city centre and also the uni only 5 mins walk! The property itself had just been re done and was really modern and have definitely enjoyed living there! Paul and Billy were always super helpful and only a message away if anything needed fixing or replaced and would always be done within the same day or the day after. It really felt as though they cared about us as students and couldn’t reccomend them enough !

Living here was a great experience. The house is clean, all renovated before we got there, the area is not amazing but the street is pretty quiet and so is the neighbourhood. The university is really close by, and the location is ideal for an NTU student. The landlord is lovely, attentive, always available for any problem and very kind to us. Paul is a reliable and honest landlord who has helped us a lot this year. Many thanks to him for everything!

Wellington street is extremely convenient for Nottingham city center and Nottingham Trent University. The house is 10 minutes away from the Victoria bus station and is 12–15 minute walk from the NTU library and lecture halls, making it super easy to get to 9am lectures, even if you wake up late. The property itself is really nice, clean and modern. The kitchen is large enough for 2-3 housemates to cook at the same time and the layout of the sitting room means there is plenty of room for everyone to eat, have drinks, or just chat together. The kitchen and living room give the house a really nice social feeling however when in need of alone time the bedrooms are a nice place to retreat to, with the majority of them being a similar size and having enough space for lots of clothes and books. Having 2 bathrooms with showers is also useful and prevented any morning queues. The house is furnished with good quality furniture. Paul the landlord is super friendly and is extremely helpful if anything goes wrong, any issues are sorted very quickly. Living in Wellington Street has been a great experience, from having enough space to socialize and hang out, to not having to stress about getting to University and knowing that when problems with the house do arise Paul will be extremely understanding and help sort the problem as soon as possible.

Could not recommend this property enough to other students, super easy location to get to local shops as well as university and tram stops. With a short 5/10 minute walk to uni in the mornings. Living in the property was also very enjoyable, the area and neighbours are not noisy at all so rarely disturbed by any noise. As well as the rooms being of very decent size and all furniture within them being functional and clean. The landlords himself was brilliant throughout the entire year straight from day one where I asked him to replace my desk chair and by the very next day I had a brand new one. Any problems with faulty equipment or the house in general were solved incredibly quickly with a lovely maintenance team coming round to help. All in all I think anyone would find living in the property a great experience as well as relaxing when it comes to having to deal with any issues

Where do I start...You know how you hear before you move into a house, the nightmares of horrible landlords etc etc, Paul is the total opposite of the spectrum. He is the most down to earth, kind hearted, honest and caring landlord you can ever imagine and ask for. If there are any issues or concerns he makes sure they are sorted ASAP and has a great team who are so polite, very helpful and do an immaculate job. Paul does so much for his tenants especially during covid he would knock on our door or send us a message to see if we are well, how we are coping and i think this is one of his most treasured traits which i really value in people and you don't see a lot of!! So I cannot fault Paul and i'm not being biased as i've rented one of his properties but i even knew he must be a great landlord from reading the previous testimonies and he has really shown this through my stay here at 63 Wellington street. About the house, the location is amazing, there is an Aldi near by and a connivence store just under 5 minutes walk. The Victoria centre is also just under a 10 minute walk and there are many shortcuts to get into town from, even into Hockley. To get to Nottingham Trent University it takes about 12 minutes which is amazing and convenient, also Victoria bus station is a five minute walk away which takes you to different parts of Nottinghamshire and Derby. The train station isn't far at all and Ubers cost under £6. The house itself is great, the rooms are spacious, clean there is a lot of storage space, and kitchen space. There is a nice small garden, great in the summer to chill and the lounge area is so cosy especially with the TV having Netflix! Overall i will miss my time here at 63 Wellington street i had an amazing, easy, stress free experience here and if you ever have a chance I would recommend renting one of his properties as I honestly doubt you will get anything better than Paul Rowland Properties!

I cannot recommend my student house this year enough! The location was perfect being so central in town and a short walk to NTU. The house itself was very comfortable and was re-decorated before we moved in. Also, Paul has to be one of the best landlords! He is always on the other end of the phone if you had any problems and a genuinely lovely man. 100% recommend!

The access to the university from this property was quick and easy along with a close proximity to a wide variety of shops and nightlife, the house itself was fantastic to live in along with a top quality landlord who i would reccomend to anyone looking for good quality student housing

My overall experience at Wellington street has been great. The location of the property is very good as it’s very close to town centre, there’s many shops close to it and it’s only a 6 minute walk to Nottingham Trent. Paul, the landlord, is the best landlord I have had throughout my 3 years at university. He’s kind, understanding and always happy to help. Would highly recommend him and his property.

As a last minute decision I moved into the house with the other tenants (a month prior to the first term of university)- Paul had no problems with me moving in although it required a lot of work on his part re-doing the contracts. He was friendly, helpful and available whenever I had any questions. In regards to the house We couldn't have asked for better especially for the rent we were paying. We had very few problems with the house but any that did arise paul was on hand to sort them out. The house is modern complete with various 'luxuries' i.e. Tv's in all the rooms, a dishwasher and a tumble dryer to name a few! Exceeds many student houses! Great landlord always willing to help- would definitely recommend.

We found this house to be very good value for money, it was well protected and we had no problem with crime. Paul was very attentive and helpful so we cannot fault him or his service in any way. I Would definitely recommend one of his houses to everyone as they are a lot better than most other student houses in the area, and he is definitely one of the best landlords.

We've lived in the same property for two years now as we've found Paul to be so reliable. A great house and a very personable landlord. We were his first tenants in his first house and we got along really well with Paul! Paul really looked after us and went above and beyond with everything! He provided us with a free cleaner who came about every six weeks, we had flat screen TV's in every bedroom and loads of other luxurys! He took all his tenants out for a drink and a meal (free of charge) last year where we got to mingle and make new friends with his other tenants. We have rang him at all hours of the day and night for lost keys, setting the alarm off and not knowing how to stop it etc. And he has done everything he can to help and is always genuinally concerned and wanting to help.
