Overview
Just a 1-minute walk from Royal Holloway University, The Podium offers a wide range of student rooms, studios and apartments. Inside, you'll be able to enjoy facilities including a gym, games room and study areas.
The wide choice of accommodation at The Podium includes modern, self-contained studios with their own kitchenette and en suite shower room, as well as apartments suitable for sharing with a friend. Our en suite rooms have the use of kitchens and living areas shared with other students, and are available in various sizes.
All residents can make use of our social and study areas, and our free gym. There is also free WiFi onsite, as well as useful amenities like bike storage and a laundry room.
Egham town centre is within a 10-minute walk of The Podium, with a good range of supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops and other amenities. The town is well connected to London with direct trains to London Waterloo, a journey of around 40 minutes. Heathrow Airport is also accessible by bus in around half an hour.
Around the local area, you can enjoy attractions such as the Thorpe Park theme park, Windsor Castle and Windsor Great Park.

How the booking process works
Choose a room
Once you've picked your preferred room type, choose your length of stay and click “Book now”.
Choose your room location
Use our interactive floor plan to select the exact spot for your room within the building.
Provide tenant details
Enter your basic information and university details.
Complete your booking
Your room will be held for 72 hours. Look out for an email from iQ Student Accommodation with instructions to set up your account and finalise your booking.
Don’t miss out! Your room will be held for 72 hours, during which time you will need to log into your iQ account and pay the £100 booking fee.
Once you’ve paid the booking fee, you’ll have 7 days to sign your tenancy agreement – your booking is only confirmed after signing.
Cancellation & refunds
You will normally have 14 days from receiving your accommodation offer or paying a deposit/fee to cancel your booking.
In some cases the cancellation period can be shorter, however you will be informed of that by the accommodation directly.
